Tom Knight, 87, of the 5200 block of Club Head Road, a retired mechanic, died Aug. 1, 1994, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.
Mr. Knight was born in Nansemond County and was the widower of Ruby Rhodes Knight. He was retired from VDOT and was a member of Oakland Christian Church, Suffolk.
Survivors include a son, Ray Knight of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mamie Daniels of Suffolk; two brothers, Thurman Knight and Henry Knight, both of Suffolk; and a granddaughter, Lynn Knight of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk. Visitation will be from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today in Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk.
