Robert William ``Captain Bob'' Pebworth, 74, a retired professional boat captain, died Aug. 2, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Pebworth was born in Norfolk and was a lifelong resident of Tidewater. He was a Methodist and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Pebworth; two daughters, Jane Jones of Charlottesville, Va., and Faye Markert of Atlanta; a sister, Ethel Williams of Virginia Beach; and four grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Friends may join the family at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today for visitation. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
