R.C. HARRELSON

R.C. Harrelson, 75, of the 5200 block of Shore Drive, a retired self-employed contractor after 40 years, died Aug. 4, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mr. Harrelson was born in Dillon Co., S.C., a member of Virginia Heights Baptist Church and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Louise M. Harrelson; two daughters, Pam J. Self of Norfolk and Robin H. Jernigan of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Sarah H. Jackson and Alee H. Barnes, both of Dillon, S.C., and Lula H. Noble of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a brother, the Rev. Gerald Harrelson of Dillon, S.C.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. George P. Boyd. The family will receive friends at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
