Edward John Malloy, 64, of the 900 block of Little Bay Ave., died Aug. 14, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mr. Malloy was a native of Norfolk and resided in Willoughby. He had retired from the Naval Safety Center as a computer programmer. He had also retired from Willoughby Bay Marina as a clerk. He was president of Willoughby Bay Civic League during the period of 1973.
Survivors include his loving wife, Frances L. Malloy of Norfolk; three daughters, Donna Suthard of Owensburg, Ind., Kathy Lovelace of Virginia Beach and Janet Miller of Chesapeake; two sons, Edward J. Malloy Jr. of Richmond and George Micheal Malloy of Norfolk; a sister, Katherine Allison of Norfolk; daughters-in-law, Judy Malloy and Brenda Malloy; sons-in-law, Steve Suthard and Steve Miller; five grandchildren, Dylan, Angela, Crystal, Breanna and Daniel; one niece, Maureen Terlesky; a great-niece and nephew, Chelsea and Micheal.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Father Lou Ruoff. Burial will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
