Leonard Joseph Deal, of Red Coat Road, died Aug. 14, 1994, in a local hospital.
He was born January 1, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pa. Mr. Deal served 23 years in the United States Navy and retired in Virginia Beach.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Deal; four children; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many friends. He was loved by all.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Little Creek Base Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23513.
