M. Dorothy Stallings, 80, of the 3700 block of Western Branch Blvd., died Aug. 14, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Miss Stallings, a native of Hobbsville, N.C., was retired from the Goodyear Rubber Co. in Portsmouth. She was a member of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church, Chesapeake, and was treasurer of the church, a member of Daughters of America and a volunteer at Maryview Medical Center for many years.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and a best friend.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by Dr. Albert A. Peverall. Burial will be at 3:15 p.m. in the Stallings Family Cemetery, Hobbsville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
