Alex Drummond Lecznar, the 4-year-old son of Dana Drummond Lecznar and Billy R. Lecznar, of the 3000 block of Ole Towne Lane, died Aug. 14, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Alex was born in Virginia Beach. ``Alex loved to play baseball.''
Survivors include a brother, Christopher Maxwell, age 10, of Virginia Beach; maternal grandparents, Douglas M. and Gayle S. Drummond of Virginia Beach; paternal grandparents, Richard D. Lecznar of Virginia Beach and Garnet Inez Lecznar of Virginia Beach; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stafford L. Starcher of Asheboro, N.C.; great-grandmother, Mrs. Dan L. Drummond of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, by the Rev. Larry Davis. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
