ROGER T. FANTOM

Roger Thomas Fantom, 45, of the 600 block of Briarwood Drive, died Aug. 15, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Fantom was born in Manchester, Conn. He was employed with IBM in Norfolk as a service manager. He was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church. He was a committee member of Shorty Stallings Scholarship Fund and was a former member of the Jaycees, Windsor Locks, Conn. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam war.

Survivors include his wife, Ricky Ann Gurkin Fantom of Chesapeake; a daughter, Deana Marie Fantom of Chesapeake; a son, Jason Curtis Fantom of Chesapeake; his parents, Delores Vaillant Fantom and Clement Fantom of Manchester, Conn.; a sister, Karen F. Fusick of Vernon, Conn.; and a brother, Charles H. Fantom of Glendora, Calif.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Thomas Episcopal Church by the Rev. Theodore H. Bailey and the Rev. Barbara Blakemore. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the residence Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Thomas Courtyard Fund or to the American Cancer Society.
