David Manning II of the 300 block of Cobblewood Arch, a retired pump operator, died Aug. 14, 1994, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Manning was born in Baltimore. He was a member of Solid Rock Church of God in Christ and was retired from the City of Chesapeake. He had served during peacetime in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Manning; two daughters, Courtney Vaughan and Yolanda Manning; a stepdaughter, Tiffany Lee; a son, Joel Manning; a stepson, Brandon Lee; and his mother, Marie Estelle Manning, all of Chesapeake; his father, Irvin Manning Sr. of Baltimore; two sisters, Arthenia Chesson and Arlene Manning; three brothers, Irvin Manning Jr., William Manning and Morton Manning; a grandchild, Maykal Vaughan; and a sister-in-law, Annette Manning, all of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church Westmunden, Chesapeake, by the Rev. John Ashby. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will be at 306 Cobblewood Arch and 2209 Jefferson St., Chesapeake. The funeral processional will leave from 306 Cobblewood Arch. Fitchett Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
