Evelyn Eberwine Woodward, 75, died Aug. 14, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Woodward was the widow of Paul Deyoe Woodward. She was a member of Beach Grove United Methodist Church in Driver.
Survivors include a daughter, Suzanne Woodward McCanna of Suffolk; a son, Dr. Rodger Paul Woodward of San Francisco; a brother, Vernon G. Eberwine Jr. of Suffolk; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Beach Grove United Methodist Church by the Rev. Garland Hines. Burial will be private. Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is handling arrangements. The family suggests memorial contributions to Driver Volunteer Fire Department or to the Bennetts Creek Rescue Squad in lieu of flowers.
