EVELYN DILLON GOSLEE

Evelyn Goslee passed away Aug. 15, 1994, at the Mayfair Assisted Living Home in Portsmouth.

Mrs. Goslee was born in Stuart, Va., on Sept. 9, 1898. She was the widow of A. Herman Goslee.

The oldest of nine children, she is survived by a sister, Josephine Hyde of Portsmouth; two sons, John William Goslee of Newport News and Robert Herman Goslee of Wilmington, N.C., and their wives; nine nieces and nephews, her sister-in-law, Grace Dillon; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Goslee was a member of Cottage Place United Methodist Church, to which it is requested that memorials be sent, 442 Jamestown Ave., Portsmouth, Va. 23704.

Mrs. Goslee was last employed in the Commissioner of Revenue Office in Portsmouth.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth, by the Rev. James D. Thomas. Visitation with the family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
