BEATRICE B. BOYNTON

Beatrice Bryant Boynton, 91, widow of Brig. Gen. Malcolm M. Boynton, died Aug. 16, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

Mrs. Boynton was born in Merchantville, N.J., and lived in Ashland, Va. She lived many years in Cape Cod, Mass., before moving to Virginia Beach in 1991. Mrs. Boynton was a member of the Federated Church of Hyannis until moving in 1991, where she became a member of the Virginia Beach United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Bryant Owens of Virginia Beach, Helen Hayden of McDonough and Fay Brewster of Ithaca, N.Y.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, with a memorial service starting at 8 p.m., conducted by Dr. Paul Bailey. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Beechwood Cemetery in Centerville, Mass., with the Rev. John Williams conducting the service. Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements in Massachusetts. H.D. Oliver Chapel will be handling the local arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a favorite charity.
