CLARINE F. ARMSTRONG

Clarine Fuller Armstrong, 100, of the 1500 block of Isaac St., died Aug. 14, 1994.

Mrs. Armstrong was born in Norfolk County, Va., and the widow of William H. Armstrong. She was the oldest member the Campostella community and St. Thomas AMEZ Church in Norfolk and was a deaconess, stewardess, missionary and member of the Floral Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Alberta A. Davis of Boston, Mass.; a sister, Carthenia Penn of Norfolk; three grandchildren, C. Delores Spratley of Norfolk, Willma Davis of Newton, Mass., and Carey F. Scott Jr. of California; three great-grandchildren, Darrell Spratley and Darlene Spratley, both of Norfolk, and C.J. Scott III of California; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Thomas AMEZ Church by the Rev. G.L. Scott. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Pretlow's Funeral Home and 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the church. Family and friends will assemble at 1504 Isaac St., Norfolk, at 11:45 a.m. for the processional to the church.
