PUBLIC HEARING
On the application of Eden Korean Presbyterian Church, by Pastor Jung Kim for a change of zoning from C-2 district to conditional IN-1 district 5135 St.
On the application of Jerome Miller, for a change of zoning from R-7 to R-9 at 5247 Iowa Ave.
CONSENT AGENDA
Transmitting a report of Contingent Fund activity for the fiscal year ended June 30, 1994.
Recommended action: receive and file.
Recommendation of the city planning commission on their application to amend the zoning ordinance to add definitions of membership organizations and after-hours membership organizations and to include these in the Table of Principal Uses.
Recommended action: authorize city clerk to advertise for a public hearing on Sept. 13.
Recommendation of the city planning commission on their application to amend the zoning ordinance to allow accessory structures to be located in the channelward 50-foot buffer area in Chesapeake Bay areas under certain conditions and subject to restrictions.

An ordinance approving a lease for 1070 Rainey Road.
An ordinance approving the application for and the acceptance of a grant award in the amount of $15,980, if and when received from the United States Department of Transportation to fund the Habitual Offender Enforcement Program to be implemented by the office of the Commonwealth's Attorney.
An ordinance to amend and reordain sections 1 and 2 of the Capital Improvement Budget for the fiscal year 1988-89, as amended, to increase funding for the project titled ``Civic Center Complex Space Improvements'' by $21,828 from $397,245 to $419,073; thereby increasing the amount allocated for General Capital Improvement Projects by $21,828; and to provide the funds therefore in the amount of $21,828 from the Capital Funds balance.
An ordinance to amend and reordain section 25-287 of the Norfolk City Code, 1979, to conform with amendments by the 1994 Legislature as reflected in section 46.2-731 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended.
