Ralph V. Knight Sr., 93, of the 5000 block of Normandy Ave., a retired electrician, died Aug. 18, 1994, in a local nursing home.
Mr. Knight was born in Jamesville, Va., and was retired from Todd Electric Co., Norfolk. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 75 years, Beatrice M. Knight. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Survivors include five daughters, Helen K. Gilleland of Virginia Beach, Winnie Bodner of Chesapeake; Connie Jones of Tucson, Ariz.; Val Stover of Napa, Calif., and Lina Hall of Van Cleave, Miss.; two sons, Clarence B. Knight of Virginia Beach and Ralph Knight Jr. of Norfolk; a sister, Marion K. East of the Eastern Shore of Virginia; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall, Kempsville, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
