Miss Marissa Tai Chafin, infant daughter of Yolanda Renee Elbon-Chafin and John Steven Chafin, of the 1700 block of Hiawatha Drive, died Aug. 18, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.
She was born in Portsmouth.
Other survivors include a brother, Brannon Marland of Virginia Beach; paternal grandparents, Ed and Ellen Chafin of Savannah, Ga.; maternal grandparents, C.D. Elbon of Chesapeake and Myrtle H. Elbon of San Diego, Calif.; and uncles, Jeff and Greg Chafin, both of Savannah, Ga.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
