BILLS AGAINST RIGHTS

Both the health-care-reform bill and the crime bill are very dangerous pieces of legislation. An entity besides the people will be controlling every part of citizens' lives.

We need to put our foot down on what's going on with Congress and stop believing that it's the government's responsibility to solve all of society's problems. We must realize that it is not possible anyway.

Both bills are unnecessary and infringe on freedoms guaranteed in the Constitution. They are just excuses for government to intervene in the private lives and choices of the people. They will be costly and grant power to those to whom it does not belong. They will do nothing to solve the problems which supporters purport they will.
