On Aug. 18, 1946, dancer Carolyn M. Daniels and Navy Lt. Joseph R.
Voshell were the first couple to wed at the Lost Colony theater. The
couple now resides in Norfolk. Only one other wedding, which took
place this summer, has been held at the theater.
