Roy S. ``Shank'' Williams, 43, of the 2000 block of Ballahack Road, a janitor, died Aug. 18, 1994, in his home.
Mr. Williams was born in Chesapeake and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was employed with M.W.R. Janitorial Services.
Survivors include his mother, Gertie Holmes; three sisters, Staff Sergeant Beatris Williams of Salt Lake City, Utah, Sheila Haskins and Dezada Pierce, both of Chesapeake; a brother, Sargeant First Class James Williams of El Paso, Texas; grandparent, Dezada Williams of Chesapeake; an aunt, Annie O'Neal of Chesapeake; a great-aunt, Etheal Davenport of Chesapeake; a special friend, Hellen MacPherson of Moyock, N.C.; and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Baptist Rock Church by the Rev. James Smith. Burial will be in Baptist Rock Church Ground. Pretlow & Sons Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
