William Everette ``Bill'' Davis, 69, of Seaboard, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 1994.
He was a member of Seaboard Baptist Church and a World War II Army veteran. He was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Mable Birdsong Davis; three sons, William Nelson Davis II of Seaboard, Charles E. Davis of Roanoke Rapids and Neal T. Davis of Valentines, Va.; a sister, Helen D. Thompson of Chatham, Va.; a half-brother, Mitchell Davis of Greensboro; and three grandchildren, Charles Bennett Davis, Catherine Starr Davis and Gregory Neal Davis.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Seaboard Baptist Church by the Rev. Thomas Gibbs and the Rev. John Spencer. Burial will be in Seaboard Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seaboard Baptist Church Building Fund or the American Diabetes Association for research, 3109 Poplar Wood Court, Raleigh, N.C. 27604. Jackson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
