Henry Lins Duncan, 77, of the 400 block of Oaklette Drive, a retired construction superintendent, died Aug. 23, 1994, at his residence.
Mr. Duncan was born in Hollister, N.C. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Toffey Duncan; four daughters, Elizabeth D. Potter of Herndon, Va., Meghan D. Toffey of Virginia Beach, Mary D. Mantione of Lake Ariel, Pa., and Anne D. Edwards of New Bern, N.C.; two sisters, Margaret Byrd Duncan and Evaline Ochs Duncan, both of Chesapeake; two brothers, Rutherford B. Duncan and John C. Duncan, both of Virginia Beach; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Duncan Turman, and a sister, Kathryn Harker Duncan.
Services are private. The family will receive friends at the residence, 421 Oaklette Drive, Chesapeake, from 1 to 4 p.m. today. Kellum Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
