Michael John Kutnak Sr., 41, of the 2400 block of Trant Lake Drive, died Aug. 22, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Kutnak was born in Norfolk and was a representative for America Bearing & Power Transmission. He was a member of the Catholic Church of the Holy Family; Knights of Columbus Pope Leo XIII Council (NU)10804; Society of Manufacturing Engineers of America; and an assistant Scout Master, Boy Scouts of America. He was a graduate of Granby High School and Old Dominion University.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen McHugh Kutnak; a daughter, Kathleen M. Kutnak; and a son, Michael John Kutnak Jr., all of Virginia Beach; his mother, Johanna K. Kutnak of Norfolk; three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Cahoon of Norfolk, Nancy Wyspianski of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Virginia Magri of Houston, Texas; and a brother, Theodore Francis Kutnak of Tulsa, Okla.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Church of the Holy Family by Father Richard T. Mooney. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. A wake service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, with Father Mooney presiding. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Memorial donations may be made to the Hope Lodge, 636 W. Lexington St., Baltimore, Md. 21201.
