Ellis Cofield has been taking care of business since he was 20 years old - Cofield's Auto Inc. in Franklin.
Cofield, who has always had an interest in cars, got his start by repairing glass and upholstery in cars. Today, the business has expanded to selling used cars, and he no longer makes glass repairs.
``I have about five cars on my lot. I go to auctions to buy, and I buy from the big dealers.''
Cofield, 25, says he also buys from one car auction and then sells to another auction house to make a small profit.
``It's easier to get your money that way. And the headaches are a lot less.''
Cofield says he has high hopes of turning his business into a large used-car dealership.
``It's something that's really needed in the Franklin area.''
