Mary Ruth Taylor, 94, of the 800 block of E. Sparrow Road, a homemaker, died Aug. 28, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Hollister, N.C., and had lived in Virginia Beach for 53 years. She was the widow of Rosser Early Taylor and was a member of Elizabeth River Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Muriel V. Gregory of Norfolk; three sons, Harry Bruce Taylor and Arthur F. Taylor, both of Virginia Beach, and Lewis Edmond Taylor of Amherst, Va.; two sisters, Louise Bonebrake of Shelby, N.C., and Grace Berger of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Charles Fayssioux of Greenville, S.C.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Meredith G. Garrett. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m. and also at 841 E. Sparrow Road, Virginia Beach, at other times.
