Anna O. Parker, 89, of Roanoke Valley Nursing Home, a retired public school teacher, died Aug. 28, 1994, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital.
Mrs. Parker was born in Northampton County and was the widow of John Clifton Parker Jr. She was a life long member of Cedar Grove Friends Meeting in Woodland, N.C.
Survivors include a sister, Mary E. Outland of Woodland; a niece, Sara O. Deloatche; a great-niece; two great-nephews; and two great-great-nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Cedar Grove Friends Meeting House, Woodland, by Elder George C. Parker. Burial will be in Potecasi Baptist Church Cemetery. Garrett Funeral Home, Rich Square, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Cedar Grove Friends Meeting, Route 1, Box 10, Woodland, N.C. 27897.
