An 18-year-old Norfolk man was arrested Sunday night and charged with the Aug. 21 murder of 20-year-old Michael J. Hatchell, police said.
Police arrested Alfaygo Johnson of the 5100 block of Windermere Ave. and charged him with murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Hatchell of the 1800 block of Kingston Ave. was found lying in bushes in the 300 block of Ashlawn Drive after residents complained of a strong odor. The body was believed to have been there several days.
Police said the slaying may have stemmed from a neighborhood dispute between Johnson and Hatchell.
