A woman was killed on Interstate 564 early Monday when her car hit a retaining wall and overturned, state police said.
Mercedes D. Moorman, 29, was headed east at 4:28 a.m. when her car ran off the road, hit the wall near the Terminal Boulevard on-ramp and turned over several times. She was thrown from the car.
Moorman had apparently fallen asleep at the wheel, police said.
