In an Aug. 16 City Council discussion on the road bond referendum
for Chesapeake, Councilman Peter P. Duda warned his colleagues to
curb the list of road projects before it spiraled out of control.
Duda's remarks were incorrectly attributed to another council member
in an Aug. 22 article.
Warren Judge is part-owner of the Sands Restaurant and general
manager, but not owner, of the Days Inn Mariner Motel. A story
Monday about Outer Banks tourism contained an error.
Adm. Stanley R. Arthur, once nominated to head U.S. forces in the
Pacific, will retire in February. A headline Saturday erroneously
said he was resigning.
