Edna Friedman, 87, of the 500 block of Timothy Ave., died Aug. 30, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Friedman was a native of New York City and a resident of Norfolk since the 1940s. She was the widow of Bernard Friedman. She was a member of B'nai Israel Congregation in Norfolk, and its Sisterhood, the Hadassah, The Golden Age Club and the Jewish Community Center.
Survivors include a son, Stephen Jay Friedman of Norfolk; and two grandchildren, Jonathan Y. and Lani H. Friedman.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Israel Bornstein. The family will be at 400 Farrell St., Norfolk, following the funeral service. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to B'nai Israel Congregation.
