Wilson ``Mac'' Keith McCrory, 73, of Dixie Drive, a retired mail carrier, died Aug. 30, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. McCrory was born in Rural, Ala. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and also retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as a master sergeant after 20 years. He was also a deputy clerk for Norfolk Circuit Court. He was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church; past master of Naomi Masonic Lodge (NU)87 and Fleet Reserve Branch (NU)60. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Joan F. McCrory; a daughter, Joan F. McCrory of Norfolk; three sons, James K. McCrory of Chesapeake, Michael A. McCrory of Cumming, Ga., and Robert W. McCrory of Norfolk; three sisters, Nell Ree Herndon of Thomasville, Ga., Mertie McCrory and Emma Brassel, both of Thomasville, Ala.; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. Charles K. Blalock and the Rev. Allen Reifsnyder. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with military honors. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Norfolk Rescue Squad, Thole Street Station. Masonic rites will be accorded at the grave by Naomi Masonic Lodge (NU)87.
