Jimmie L. Rodgers, 66, of the 1600 block of Marciano Drive, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Aug. 30, 1994 in Maryview Hospital.
Mr. Rodgers was born in Newberry, S.C. He was retired as a steel worker from U.S. Steel Company after 32 years.
Survivors include a sister, Gertrude Schumpert of Portsmouth; three nieces; three nephews; and a host of friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Corprew Funeral Home by Elder S. Pleasants. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at noon Friday in the funeral home. Family and friends will be at 433 S. Main St., Apt. A-2, Norfolk, and will assemble there for the funeral service.
