Kenneth Wayne Clark, 27, of the 800 block of Hamilton Ave., a truck driver, died Aug. 26, 1994 in Franklin, W.Va.
Mr. Clark was born in Portsmouth and was employed with American Intermodel Services and Percy Tucker. He was a member of Copeland Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Youth Department and Clark Gospel Singers.
Survivors include his wife, Veronica Brinkley Clark; two daughters, Frances A. Clark and Ciara M. Clark; a son, Kenneth W. Clark Jr.; his mother, Frances J. Clark Hall; stepfather, Garvia L. Hall; two sisters, Marie R. Roulhac and Caretha Bunn; two brothers, Oscar W. Clark Jr. and William H. Clark; and maternal grandparents, Minister Edward Jenkins and Minister Verna Jenkins, all of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Copeland Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church by Bishop H.C. Williams. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at noon Friday in Corprew Funeral Home. The family will be at 17 Lexington Drive, Portsmouth and 807 Hamilton Ave., Portsmouth, and will assemble at both residences for the funeral service.
