Alma Lee Beane, 72, of Kennebeck St., a retired bookkeeper, died Aug. 31, 1994, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Beane was born in Thomasville, N.C., and was retired from BeLo Stores. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Women of the Moose.
Survivors include her husband, Howard E. Beane; two daughters, Linda L. Warren and Teressa J. Beane, both of Virginia Beach; a brother, Robert L. Loflin of Kernersville, N.C.; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Leigh Warren.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Robert V. Smith. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
