The subject of abortion has been on my mind of late, especially since the death of an abortion doctor at the hands of someone who was once a minister and who does not believe in abortion.
Whether we agree with the situation or not, it is legal for a woman to have an abortion in this country. Those of us who do not believe in abortion have no right to intrude upon the rights of others because we do not agree.
Children are shot - many fatally - every day in America, but you do not see anyone picketing the gun stores or killing the store owners for selling guns.
I believe that abortion is wrong in the sight of God, but God lets us choose which way we want to go (right, wrong or indifferent). He hopes we will choose to serve him, but that is still our choice.
For someone to use ``God killed in the Bible'' as a reason for the violence at abortion clinics is a cop-out. God is all-knowing, all-powerful. He is everywhere. So God can do whatever he wants to do. That does not mean we have the right to do the same thing.
