WARRENTON J. PARKER

Warrenton James Parker of the 2700 block of Azalea Garden Road died Sept. 2, 1994, in the 2700 block of Azalea Garden Road.

Mr. Parker was born in Norfolk and was employed with Shoney's Restaurant at 21st St. He was a former member of United Mission Holiness Church. He was a 1991 Bayside High School graduate and was on the two-time State Championship Basketball Team at Bayside from 1990-1991. He was also starting quarterback for the Bayside Football Team in 1991.

Survivors include two sons, Keon and Kenyon Parker, both of Virginia Beach; his mother, Marie Parker of Virginia Beach; his father, James Gaynor of Norfolk; a sister, Sylvia Parker of Norfolk; two brothers, Milton Parker of Norfolk and Kenneth Parker of Washington, D.C.; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Willow Mae Parker of Norfolk; paternal grandmother, Julia Gaynor of Norfolk; and his fiancee, Chassidy Andrews of Norfolk.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in St. Stephen's COGIC, 189 S. Birdneck Road, Virginia Beach, by Bishop Ted Thomas. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will assemble at 2832 Earley St., Apt. C, at 11 a.m. for the processional. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. today. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
