John Ryan Crostic Jr., 59, of the 600 block of Nellane Drive, a machinist-millwright, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 1994, in Johnston Memorial Hospital.
Born in Richmond, Va., he was a former president of the Cradock Lion's Club and was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Natalie O'Hara Crostic; son, Scott A. Crostic; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie A. Lopez and Miguel L. Lopez; and one grandson, Ryan A. Lopez.
Visitation will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and Friday at Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. A service will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will remain until 9 p.m. to receive friends. Rev. Warren Chapman will officiate. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
