Now I've seen everything. The Haitians at Guantanamo are complaining because they are bored, and the Cubans are demanding democracy and entry in the United States.
Why don't both these groups spend their energy trying to change things in their own countries? Why do we have to take in everyone who wants to come to the country where they can get free medical care, subsistence, housing, food, etc., all at the cost and expense to John and Jane Q. Taxpayer? Middle-class America is tired of footing the bill.
Also, regarding the group of Hindus who wanted to wear their ``daggers'' to school in observance of their religion, even though it's a violation of our rules: What happened to ``Let the majority rule'' or ``When in Rome do as the Romans do''? An American in other countries would have to observe others' customs and rules.
I say to immigrants: If you want to live the same as you did in your own country, then stay in your own country.
