The city is using cable television to ``get the word out'' to senior citizens and others who may qualify for real estate tax breaks.
It may be that many qualifying seniors can afford to subscribe to cable service. But it's doubtful that those who need the tax break the most are paying for television.
Maybe the city staff should consider inserting a letter into water bills or some other direct mail to insure the most needy home owners also get the word. by CNB
