Marie Ann Ianazzi Vastano of the 1000 block of Smokey Mountain Trail, a homemaker, died Sept. 10, 1994, on her 75th birthday, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mrs. Vastano was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a member of Church of the Ascension Catholic Church in Virginia Beach and the widow of Patrick Louis Vastano.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Patrick Vastano of Virginia Beach and James Thomas Vastano of Chesapeake; a sister, Frances Guadagna of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four brothers, Angelo Ianazzi of Long Island, N.Y., and Dominick Ianazzi, Vincent Ianazzi and Andrew Ianazzi, all of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A Christian funeral liturgy will be held at 7 p.m. today at Church of the Ascension Catholic Church by Father James E. Parke and Father Jay Wagner. Family and friends will gather at the church at 11 a.m. Monday for prayers and then go in procession to Forest Lawn Cemetery for burial. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling arrangements.
