ANNA F. MANGAN

Anna Farrell Mangan, 85, of the 200 block of Royal Oak Drive, died Sunday in Chesapeake General Hospital.

Mrs. Mangan was born in New York City, N.Y., and was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Sara Close Farrell. She was the widow of James F. Mangan. Mrs. Mangan had retired after 26 years as an account clerk with the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York City, N.Y. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and the American Association of Retired Persons.

Survivors include two daughters, Monica M. Wheaton of Chesapeake and Kathryn A. Robinson of Hackettstown, N.J.; three sons, Charles V. Mangan of Liverpool, N.Y., Joseph F. Mangan of Scotch Plains, N.J., and Thomas J. Mangan of Brockport, N.Y.; two sisters, Monica A. Farrell of Bronx, N.Y. and Agnes Van Nostrand of East Sandwich, Mass.; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church by the Rev. Christian Haydinger. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Oman Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
