William Bowman Burkholder Jr., 71, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 1994, at N.A.M. Hospital, Nassawadox.
Mr. Burkholder was born in Covington, Va., son of the late William B. Burkholder Sr. and Lottie Childress Burkholder. He was the widower of Cassie Killmon Burkholder and a member and deacon of Cape Charles Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna B. Threatt of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Billie B. Tubbs of Midlothian, Va.; two sisters, Louise B. Doig of Covington, Va. and Iris B. Long of Tacoma, Wash.; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Cape Charles Baptist Church by the Rev. William H. Haley. Burial will be in Cape Charles Cemetery. Friends may join the family at Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
