Eve Lyn Savage, 58, of the 100 block of N. Golf Harbor Path, died Sept. 15, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Savage was born in San Jose, Calif. She had retired from the Baltimore Sun and Evening Capitol Newspapers as a newspaper reporter. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Inverness, and she wrote a syndicated column entitled ``Gardening With Eve.'' She was predeceased by her parents, Anita Filardo Burnley and Dr. L.J. Burnley.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse E. Savage Jr. of Inverness; a daughter, Mrs. Donna Roberson of Annapolis, Md.; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Newman Memorial Cemetery, Chuckatuck, Va., by the Rev. Linwood G. Cook. Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling arrangements. The family will receive friends at the home of Bill and Elsie Shaw, 1213 Nansemond Parkway, Suffolk.
