Harriett ``Babe'' Harrison of the 400 block of Edgecombe Ave., and formerly of the 1200 block of Elliott St. in Norfolk, died Sept. 16, 1994, in New York City.
Mrs. Harrison was born in North Carolina and was the widow of Abe Harrison. She was a member of First Baptist Church Logan Park in Norfolk, the Choir, Missionary Circle and the Fourth Score Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Lydia R. Thaxton of New York City; three grandchildren, Shirley Miles of Long Island, NY., Marian Tucker of New York City and Patti Smith of Bermuda; and a great-grandson, Johnathan Smith of Bermuda.
A memorial graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Calvary Cemetery by the Rev. Joseph M. Price. Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
