A 21-year-old man died early Wednesday after being shot in the 2300 block of Cary Ave., police said.
Police received a call about 2:30 a.m. that a man was lying in the street. When officers arrived, they found that Quincy Lee Jones, of the 2500 block of Jamaica Ave., had been shot more than once.
Jones was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he died a few hours later, police said.
Police are asking that anyone with information call Crime Line at 441-5100.
