I am grateful for the coverage of our medical personnel serving in Croatia. The special report, ``The Navy's Mission in Zagreb,'' will be very much appreciated by the men and women involved and by their families and shipmates.
Having served as Commander, Joint Task Force PROVIDE PROMISE, I know from first-hand experience and observation that our people are doing important humanitarian work under difficult conditions. I am very proud of each one of them. Staff writer Kerry DeRochi and photographer Bill Tiernan portrayed their work, its difficulty and their sacrifice in a caring and accurate way.
I am grateful for your effort to let others know of the work of these wonderful people.
