As we talk to friends and associates, we hear a great deal about the lack of integrity and courage in our politicians. This is particularly evident now when we look at the two major candidates for the Senate. One is tainted with a history of questionable personal behavior, and the other seems to have a great deal of trouble keeping his facts straight. However, each of these is supported by his political party.
Perhaps the time has come to let the party professionals go their own way while we, the citizens, support the one candidate whose character is not in question - Marshall Coleman. He is not beholden to either party or their big-money contributors.
Wouldn't it be refreshing to have two senators from Virginia of whom we can all be proud whether we agree with them on all issues or not - John Warner and Marshall Coleman?
Two votes in November for Marshall Coleman.
