Marvin E. Brantley, 70, a retired farmer, of 1657 Wombles Mill Road, died Sept. 24, 1994.
Mr. Brantley was a native of Southampton County and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Cross of Suffolk and Irene Brantley of Zuni; three brothers, Calvin M. Brantley of Zuni, Alfred W. Brantley of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Floyd W. Brantley of Suffolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 1994, in the Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Wayne Underwood. Friends may join the family at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
