Queenie E. Perry of the 2800 block of North St., died Sept. 24, 1994.
Mrs. Perry was the widow of Archie Lee Perry and was a former member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Evangelist Shirley D. Perry Jenkins of Columbia, S.C., Evangelist Patricia Perry Singleton of Fayetteville, N.C., Jean Perry Jones and Carrie Kelly, both of Portsmouth; four sons, Gary W. Thorne, James L. Perry, Joseph L. Perry and Edgar L. Perry, all of Portsmouth; four sisters, Cherry Stewart, Dorothy Jacobs, both of Portsmouth, Ruth Pinkney of Philadelphia and Inez Outland of Williamsburg; a brother, Jessie Thorne of Portsmouth; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Sharon Stewart of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in New Testament Church by Elder Charles H. Bowens Jr. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The body will be in church at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
