Timothy Kelly Bernard, 38, of the 5500 block of Springhill Road, a customer service representative, died Friday, Sept. 23, 1994, in the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Washington, D.C.
He was born in Washington, D.C., where he was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church. He was employed with Montgomery County Cable Co. Timothy was a 1974 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. He attended Norfolk State University and Old Dominion University before entering the U.S. Coast Guard.
Survivors include his mother and father, Reba Brock Bernard and Howard L. Bernard Sr. of the home; a sister, Beverly Cruz; and two brothers, Howard L. Bernard Jr. and Daryle.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Riddick Funeral Service by the Rev. Larry Ricks. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
