Opie W. Williams, 81, of the 900 block of Tifton St, a retired construction worker, died Sept. 24, 1994, in DePaul Medical Center.
Mr. Williams was born in North Carolina, son of the late Mary and James Williams. He was retired from Staff-Gammon Construction Co. after 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Williams; a nephew; several nieces; and a sister-in-law, Pauline Darden of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. M.L. Williams. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will assemble at 924 Tifton St.
